We’re introducing some new dogs on the run-up to our big, big, July 27th Adoption Event. Join us in Brooklyn on July 27th and meet great dogs like Dylan. If you are interested in adopting one of these dogs, get a head start now by visiting our website and completing an adoption application.
Dylan McKay is an approximately 8 month-old mixed breed (lab/shep?) that loves the camera! On top of his good looks, he’s super sweet and smart, which his Alabama foster mom says makes it “hard living in a house with all this fabulousness.” Dylan has the energy you’d expect of a young pup but knows when it’s time to settle down inside. And he’s a lover. “On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most affectionate dog ever in life, Dylan would score about a billion. He really loves belly rubs and getting his neck scratched and will sit next to you for ages very calmly if you give him that affection.” Dylan appears not to have had much prior experience with training but is very intelligent and picking up skills at a rapid clip. He loves toys and attention but will happily amuse himself if you’re busy. He plays fetch with himself but we’re having a hard time proving it. Every time someone picks up a camera, he comes running to pose for a picture. Cheese!
