Casey Novak is an approximately 6 to 7 year-old bully mama that weighs about 55 pounds. A member of one of our most regular, devoted foster families down south found her at a local campground, fell in love, and couldn’t bear the thought of her getting euthanized at the shelter. She came highly recommended and is a Brooklyn Badass now! Her seasoned southern foster mom sang her praises in advance: “She is the most mannerly foster I’ve ever had. She’s never had an accident in the house. She doesn’t beg for food, and she waits by the door to go outside! She also asks for permission to get up on furniture, gets along with my 13 yr. old daughter, cats, other dogs, and people! She’s a very laid back, low key gal, housebroken, and good on a leash. We love her!” And now that she’s a city gal, her NYC foster mom definitely agrees: “Casey has adapted to the city beautifully, as if she’s always been here. She is a sweet loving soul who is gentle with every living being. She’s got all her basic commands down solid, never barks, and is happiest just sleeping near me or getting her neck scratched (her favorite)!”

You can meet Casey on Saturday at our awesome Adoption Event and Ballin’ Meatball Fundraiser! Fill our an application in advance by visiting our website.
